About

Ever feel like you want to try everything because you seem to love food, fashion, cooking, business, new concepts, marketing, art, music, photography, sarcasm and weird animals (like a platypus)? Well i do. Harsh reality is no business venture can accommodate all your passions. So before i figure out how to assemble all these professional and non professional interests into one sound enterprise; i’m going to blog about it.

You make cooking so fun! And your dishes look great. Have a challenge for you though. I’m vegan and as I can’t eat what “normal” people eat, I make up my own dishes. Can you make something vegan for a change? ;-p cheers from Down Under.

    • September 7, 2011 12:55 pm

Thanks for stoping by! i will answer your challenge if you tell me why you are vegan? there is a wrong and right answer here by the way haha

      • September 7, 2011 1:18 pm

And my RIGHT answer is… why not? 😉 why, I didn’t think I’d get a reply. But looking forward to my vegan dish!

      • September 7, 2011 1:30 pm

that’s not the right answer! are you doing it for health reasons (in which case great), or are you doing it because you feel bad for the animals (in which case…ummmmmm) or are you doing it for no reason (in which case you are crazy)

      • September 7, 2011 1:50 pm

I’m vegan because I don’t need meat, or any other animal product for that matter, to survive. Also, I’m a mum of six dogs. And because of them I grew a love and respect for animals which I didn’t even know was necessary.

  27. September 7, 2011 1:55 pm

Why am I vegan, that’s the story of my life. Simply put, it’s just how I want to spill my soul. Like what I always say to people, veganism is my ism. I thank you. 😀 Be waiting for your vegan dish. 😀 thanks erwan!

Wow, you’re an inspiration! Did you study Culinary Arts? If yes, where? 😀

    • October 12, 2011 9:56 am

nope never, self taught mostly 🙂

      • November 17, 2011 8:47 am

Hi Erwan. I first saw your cooking stuff at youtube. I don’t know how but I did. I keep a food blog here somewhere in the internet world because I like cooking but never had the chance to make it as a career because Culinary Arts tuition fee is crazy expensive. After winding up here and learning you didn’t take formal culinary schooling, I was… amazed

Thanks, you really are an inspiration. 🙂 But yeah, investing on that nice ass kitchen, utensils and kitchen ware, ack so expensive.

Last question, the recipes in your blogs.. is it your own or you read a recipe elsewhere and tweaked it a little?

      • November 24, 2011 2:31 am

they are all my own. but of course techniques are always borrowed!

hey erwan! you inspired me to have an interest in cooking!! Request, italian pasta please!! 🙂

  40. November 17, 2011 3:24 am

    the recipe’s are:
2 cloves of garlic, 3 pcs. of big tomatoes, 25g of shiitake mushrooms, fettuccine pasta, virgin olive oil, basil, salt, brown sugar, rosemary, oregano ground, chili powder, liquid seasoning, herbs and garlic sauce mix, italian seasoning.

boil some water, add the oil, add the pasta add salt, add the mushrooms to the boiling water to soften it a bit. then for the sauce, in a bowl, add the herbs and garlic sauce mix,add 1/2 hot water, add oil, add oregano ground, chili powder, liquid seasoning, italian seasoning and brown sugar.

cut the tomatoes in thin slices, if the pasta’s okay, remove the water, cut the mushroom like what we’ve done in our tomatoes, prepare a saute pan, add oil, add the crushed garlic, add tomatoes. if the tomatoes are very reddish already now’s the time to add the pasta, add some rosemary to the pasta, add the sauce, then the basil and mushrooms. 🙂 enjoy!!! it’s very simple, but it taste soooooo GREAT! 🙂
